Forrest “Frosty” Peetz joins the GBB Law Group as “of counsel” after engaging in the general practice of law for 46 years in O’Neill, Holt County, Nebraska. Having grown up as one of nine children of Dr. Dwaine J. Peetz and Mildred Peetz in Neligh, NE, Frosty graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Law in 1976. Moving to O’Neill, NE in May of 1976, he was associated with the firm of Magnuson, Magnuson and Peetz until February of 1979 when he opened his own law practice at 126 N. 4th Street in O’Neill where he would provide legal services to clients in North Central and Northeast Nebraska for the next 43 years. Peetz tried numerous civil and criminal trials to verdict in the county and district courts throughout the area. He also provided legal services to children in juvenile court, as well as estate planning and probate administration in the county court. His practice includes business planning, entity creation, contracts and real estate transactional work. 

Upon the retirement of its longtime legal assistant, Barbara (Fish) Myers, Peetz Law closed January 1, 2022. Desiring to continue providing legal services to the people, especially the juveniles, of the 8th Judicial District, Peetz has joined Galyen Boettcher Baier PC, LLO.
